Application Overview

1.

Main Panel

The Main Panel, shown in Figure VI-1, is the main window of the application and is shown on

application setup. It is where many of the most important features of CounterMeasure are located.
These features, excluding the menus, are:

a)

Run Control Button

When no run is active, it launches the

Start Run Dialog

. When a run is

active, it will stop the run. It will be disabled whenever starting a run is not
allowed, such as when the tray is ejected or when CounterMeasure
couldn’t connect to the electronics. (See

Can’t Start CounterMeasure

there’s an issue at startup, CounterMeasure will fail to start and

throw an error message, in most cases offering to send an error
report to XIA. It’s best practice to send in that report so the issue
can be documented and fixed, and support provided. One notable
thing that can cause CounterMeasure to fail to start is running the
