Basic Printing Operations

Switching on

The procedure is as follows:

Press the "|" side of the power switch, located
on the left side of the printer, to switch on the
printer.

The message "Testing" appears on the display
of the control panel. The message will change
from "Please wait..." to "Ready to Print".
Check that the Online LED is lit when the
printer is ready.

The printer is warming up when
the "Please wait..." message is
shown on the display. The printer
cannot process any print job
during this time.
If an error message is shown on
the display of the control panel
refer to "4.7 When an Error
Message Appears" on how to
resolve the error.
