7.3 Transporting the Printer
Push and hold the face-up tray to the right,
dislodge the tab on the left from the hole in the
printer ( ). Next, dislodge the tab on the right
( ).
Do not bend the face-up tray too
much when you carry out the
operation in ( ). You may
damage the tray.
Open the front cover and turn the toner
cartridge in the toner cartridge window to the
"unlock" position ( ), then pull out the toner
cartridge.
If the printer is transported with
the toner cartridges installed, the
toner may spill and damage the
inside of the printer.
Push up the anti-rotational switch to release the
knob.
The anti-rotational switch will be
lowered automatically when you
turn the knob in the next step.
Remove your hand after you
have pushed up the switch.
Turn the knob in the direction of the arrow until
it stops to move the next cartridge into the
toner cartridge window. Then, remove the
toner cartridge.
Once you turn the knob, you will
hear a click indicating that the
anti-rotational switch has
returned to the down position.
Repeat Steps and to remove the
remaining three toner cartridges.
