Description

Paper is not fed
Paper jam
Several sheets are fed at
the same time
Paper slants when fed

Possible Cause

Is the paper loaded properly?
Is special paper loaded properly
on the manual tray?

Is the paper damp?

Is the recommended paper type
used?

Have all packing materials and
seals been removed?
Is the E spacer removed from the
printer ?

Is the paper tray open?

Is paper jammed?

Is the printer placed on a level
platfrom?

Solution

Load the paper stock properly.
If you are loading special media such
as transparencies, labels, or envelopes,
fan them and make sure that there is
some air buffer between the media.

Replace with new paper stock.

Replace with paper of the
recommended size and type.

Switch off the power switch, and
check the interior of the printer.
