5.1 Clearing Paper Jams
5.1.8 Paper Jams in the Duplex Tray
If you cannot find the jammed paper in the lower left cover or in the right cover, check in
the duplex tray.
The procedure to clear the paper jam is as follows:
Before pulling out the duplex tray, check that there is no paper jammed at
the lower left cover or the right cover.
Gently pull out the duplex tray until it stops.
Remove the jammed or wrinkled paper.
If the paper is torn, make sure you do not leave
any pieces inside the printer.
If paper was jammed at the far
end of the duplex tray and
cannot be removed, you have to
uninstall the duplex tray. Refer
to the booklet bundled with the
optional duplex print module for
information on how to install and
uninstall the duplex tray.
Gently push the duplex tray into the printer until
it stops.
