Menu Item

Explanation

Serial (con't...)

• Baud Rate

Sets the transmission speed of data for serial interface.
The candidate values are as follows:

• 9600 (Default)

Transmission of 9600 bits of data in 1 second.

• 19200

Transmission of 19200 bits of data in 1 second.

• 1200

Transmission of 1200 bits of data in 1 second.

• 2400

Transmission of 2400 bits of data in 1 second.

• 4800

Transmission of 4800 bits of data in 1 second.

• Data Length

Sets the data length of the serial interface.
The candidate values are as follows:

• 8 Bit (Default)

Sets the data length to 8 bit.

• 7 Bit

Sets the data length to 7 bit.

• Stop Bit

Sets the length of stop bit for serial interface.
The candidate values are as follows:

• 1 Bit (Default)

Sets the length of the stop bit to 1 bit.

• 2 Bit

Sets the length of the stop bit to 2 bit.

• Parity

Sets the parity check method for serial interface.
Parity check is a checking process that determines whether the data has been sent
correctly from the sending party to the receiving party.
The candidate values are as follows:

• None (Default)

Does not execute parity check. Parity bid will not be attached when transmitting
data.

• Odd

Executes odd number parity check. Odd number parity will be attached when
transmitting data.

• Even

Executes even number parity check. Even number parity will be attached when
transmitting data.
