22. Run dC 965 Head Maintenance . Use the identified Print Head(s) from the test
pattern sample as a guide to select the appropriate PBU number and Print Head
number within the PBU.
Attention
Because of how the Print Head cleaning system is designed, only the Print Heads
from one color should be selected for this step. If more than one color is chosen on
the same side of the Marking Tower, it will no longer be possible to determine how
much ink has been purged from the Print Heads for a particular color.
23. Check Print Head Purge Waste Trays for purged ink.

Continue with the next step. The waste tray has about
the same amount of purged
ink from each Print Head.
Run DC 965 Head Maintenance again.

Only repeat this action one time. If the Result does not
change, contact Xerox for assistance.

Contact Xerox for assistance. A Print Head failed to purge
any ink.
24. Set NVM ID 32345 to a value of 1.
25. Print the PrintHeadReg_500fpm test pattern.
26. Restore NVM ID 32345 to the default value of 0.
27. At the post-processing device, remove two copies of the test pattern printed on
the web for analysis.
