Wipe the scanner glass with a clean, dry cloth. It the dirt does not come off easier, try gently
wiping with a moistened soft cloth with a small amount of neutral detergent. Then, wipe again
with a dry cloth.

Using excessive force when cleaning the glass, may damage the it and affect your copies.

Replace the document handler.

6.

Power the machine on, as directed in the section on Powering the System On/Off.
