10 Firmware upgrades

Take care to only upload the correct firmware, manifest and XML files to the
camera. Incorrect use of the upgrade functionality may render the camera
non-functional.

To upgrade to new firmware, a new manifest file or new XML file, perform the following
steps in Xeneth:

1. Go to the

Settings

– Storage

tab.

2. Upload the firmware file:

2.1. Click on the

Firmware, Manifest

XML

file property and then click its green upload

arrow.

2.2. Select the corresponding new file in the file dialog. Take care to upload the correct

file for each property.

2.3. Wait until the transfer progress bar closes and the file has transferred to the

camera.

3. Power cycle the camera for the new firmware to take effect.
