QAY220 All Terrain Crane Operation Manual

7-11 Hydraulic oil tank

7-12 Specifications

The main function of hydraulic oil tank

is storing oil and radiating heat. It also has the

function of separating air and deposit from oil.

The suction port of the oil tank is designed at

the lower side of the tank, suction filter accuracy

is 180

. The return port of the oil tank is

designed at the upper side of the tank, return

filter accuracy is 10

. Check the suction filter

and return filter regularly to prevent clogging

which affects the effect of suction and return

oil.

W h e n c h a n g e t h e h y d r a u l i c o i l , t h e

superstructure should be in travel configuration

and butterfly valve be closed. Prepare tools for

cleaning oil tank and container for temporarily

holding hydraulic oil, and hose. And then

deliver the oil remained in tank to container by

opening the drain plug located at the bottom of

the oil tank. After the oil tank is cleaned refill

it with new hydraulic oil till specified level.

After that open the butterfly valve and the drain

hole on main pump, let the engine run at idle.

Close the drain hole after air is drained off.

Carry out operations such as hoisting, elevating,

telescoping and slewing (the boom must be

retracted after it is extended; too high elevation

is not allowed). After all movements have been

finished, check the oil level with the crane in

travel configuration. If the oil level is lower than

the specified mark, refill to the specified level.
