The Nitro Tiger .21 engine has been specially designed for the use in models with nitro engine. It fi ts into
most 1/8 Nitro models.

Fixing the carburetor
the engine is delivered with a loose fi tted carburetor. After adjusting turn the carburetor mounting screw right,
to save this position.
WARNING: In order to prevent damage, do not tight the carburetor mounting screw to much!
Setting the carburetor
The carburetor has three possible settings
1. Nozzle needle: regulates the maximum speed at full throttle, ie. the basic setting of the air / fuel mixture
2. Mixture control screw:
regulates the fuel / air mixture at idle and medium speeds, so that the motor has
a reliable idle and accelerates soft and without delay to higher speeds.
3. Throttle stop screw: With the throttle setting the lowest position can be mechanically fi xed. ATTEN-
TION: Do not set the carburetor if the engine is unloaded.
Fuel
Only use high-quality, commercial model fuel. Even a small percentage of nitro methane (3-5%) makes it
easier to adjust the nozzle needle and improves throttle response of the engine. The percentage of oil in the
fuel should be at least 12%. We recommend: XciteRC Hobby Fuel H-25 fuel 2,5 liters, Order No. 74102000.
WARNING: model fuels are toxic! Do not bring into contact with eyes or mouth! It must be
stored in clearly marked containers out of the reach of children.
WARNING: Model fuels are highly fl ammable, keep away from open fl ame, excessive heat, sources of
sparks, or any other things that can lead to infl ammation. In the immediate vicinity of fuel or fuel vapors
are non-smoking.
Glow Plug
both the glow plug and the fuel are very important for the performance and reliability of the engine. When
install a new glow plug, tighten with care.
WARNING:
do not over tight,
the threads can be damaged!
