VoIP set sip regexpires
7.28.1 Syntax
voip set sip regexpires <seconds>
Description
This command specifies the time interval after which
registration with the SIP Proxy Server is
refreshed.
The Voice-IAD systems will automatically attempt to
refresh their registrations before they expire.
If they expire without being refreshed then the SIP
Registrar deletes the corresponding entries and
the phones connected to that Voice-IAD system will no
longer be able to receive incoming calls as
it will be unknown to the Registration Server.

VoIP set sip regproxy
7.29.1 Syntax
voip set sip regproxy <domain>
7.29.2 Description
This command is used to identify the IP domain for the
SIP Proxy server. The domain can be:
• IP address - for example, 192.168.1.1
• IP Domain name - The domain name should be a FQDM
(Fully Qualified Domain name). For
example,
www.globespanvirata.com
.
A SIP Registrar server stores the location of SIP Proxy
servers within a SIP domain. To change the
SIP domain, use the command, voip set sip userdomain,
If you are only using one SIP Proxy server then this server
would also be configured as the SIP
Registrar Server, as their functionality is tightly bound
together. Both servers would be running on
the same machine using the same IP address and port.
