7.5 VoIP add dcmdial
7.5.1 Syntax
voip add dcmdial <prefix> <numdigits>
<dial_at_timeout|dial_no_prefix|dial_with_prefix>
7.5.2 Description
This command enables you to configure ‘VoIP with PSTN
switching’ on your system. Using this
command you can define a range of
dial plans
which
specify the numbers which are connected to
the PSTN.
If the number dialled matches a number defined in the dial
plan, then the number is routed to the
PSTN. Otherwise, the number is routed to the VoIP
network where the number is then matched
against the digit map defined for SIP or MGCP.
The digit map for SIP is defined using the command
voip
set sip digitmap
. (For more
information, see
voip set sip digitmap
on page 102.)
The digit map for MGCP is defined in the
router.txt
file.
This file is one of the configuration files which
must be edited when you are setting up the MGCP Call
Agent. For more information, see
Editing
Router.txt
on page 48.

7.5.4 Example
For example, the following command:
prompt>
voip add dcmdial 9 3 dial_no_prefix
means that if the User dials 9102, the number 102 is
dialled on the PSTN.
In another example, the command:
prompt>
voip add dcmdial 01223 6 dial_with_prefix
means that if the user dials 01223 707070, the number
01223 707070 is dialed on the PSTN.
In another example:
prompt>
voip add dcmdial 01223 6 dial_at_timeout
means that if the user dials 01223 7070 and dials no
further numbers, then after the timeout has
expired the number will be dialled on the PSTN - even
though six digits have not been dialled. The
user can dial a maximum number of six digits and the
number will be dialled after the timeout.
