Problem
Possible Cause
Solution
Low output voltage (96 Vac–
104 Vac)
You are using a voltmeter that
cannot accurately read the
RMS voltage of a modified
sine wave.
Use a true RMS reading voltmeter
such as the Fluke 87.
Low output voltage and the
OUTPUT POWER
INDICATOR
is in the red
area.
Low input voltage and the
load is close to maximum
allowable power.
Check the connections and cable to see
if the battery is fully charged.
Recharge the battery if it is low.
Reduce the load.
No output voltage and the
INPUT VOLTAGE DISPLAY
indicates below 10.5 volts.
Fault LED is on.
Low input voltage
Recharge the battery; check the
connections and cable.
No output voltage; no input
voltage indication.
The inverter is off.
No power to the inverter.
Inverter fuse open.
The inverter could have been
connected with reverse DC
input polarity.
Turn the inverter on.
Check the wiring to the inverter.
Return the unit. Information for
returning the inverter is provided in
“Return Material Authorization
Policy” on page WA–3
.
The inverter has probably been
damaged. Have it repaired. Damage
caused by reverse polarity is not
covered by the warranty. Information
for returning the inverter is provided in
“Return Material Authorization
Policy” on page WA–3
.
