Quick Compare Mode
The Quick Compare mode is used to compare standards with measured samples. Standards are
either downloaded from the software application or created on the instrument. Absolute or
difference measurement data can be viewed for all angles.
Creating Standards
1.
From the main screen, tap Quick Compare .
2.
Tap the Plus icon at the top of the screen.
3.
Tap Create Standard and enter a standard name using the virtual keyboard. Tap the
checkmark icon at the top of the screen to save the name.
4.
Tap the desired delta calculation from the list. NOTE : Delta calculations are downloaded from
the software application. A green checkmark appears next to the selected delta calculation.
Tap the checkmark icon at the top of the screen to enter the Measure Standard screen.
5.
The instrument goes into targeting mode. Position the instrument on the standard area to
measure as explained in Instrument Positioning.
