2.6.3 mounting drop profiles

•
Push the machined side part at the cross tube
end with bore onto the cross tube until it is fully in.
•
Secure side part with threaded pins and counternuts.
•
Depending on the drive side, mount either the counter
bearing or the motor flange.
Use M6x25mm countersunk screws to mount the
counter bearing, respectively M6x16mm countersunk
screws to mount the motor flange.
Fasten the counterpiece (motor flange or counter
bearing) on the other side part.
•
Push this premounted unit with the open side part onto
the wall bracket and place in the post.
•
Push the unit all the way to the wall bracket.
•
Screw-connect cross tube and wall bracket through
the given bores.
•
Fix cross tube with clamp screws (3 off) in the post
(see 2.6.1).
•
Depending on the drive side, push the unit with the
cloth roller and wound-up cloth, the drop profiles
and the installed motor either with the motor into the
motor flange, or with the cloth roller end cap into the
counter bearing.
•
On the opposite side, push the side part onto the
cross tube. Push the motor into the motor flange,
respectively the cloth roller end cap into the
intermediate flange.
•
Secure the side part with threaded pins.
•
Counter the nuts.
CAUTION: The fabric must run directly from the drop profile backwards to
the shaft (see diagram at 2.6.1).

assembly With 1 post and Wall ConneCtion
•
Place the drop profiles on the drop bar holder so that
the threaded pins of the clamping plates grip rough the
drop bar holder. Push the drop bar holder outwards until
it will go no further, and secure on the accessible side
(outside) with washer and M6 stop nut.
Please note: the link of the drop bar holder (see illustration) must
point forward (not towards the cross tube), Otherwise the drop
bar holder can be destroyed when the awning is extended!
•
Remove the sticky tape that secures the
position of the drop bar holders.
•
Remove the arm locking elements that
prevent opening of the arms.
The definite mounting of the drop bar holders is performed
after the adjustment of the inclination and the end positions;
see Item 3.2.
