2.6. assembling the aWning
Ensure that sufficient personnel or suitable mounting aids are available
to lift the awning. The weight of the cross member assembly with arms
can be up to 120kg; the weights are specified on the packaging.
•
Push the side parts (as shown on the right) onto
the cross tube until they will go no further.
•
Fasten side parts with threaded pins and
counternuts on the cross tube.
•
Place the cross tube with the premounted arms
and side parts into the posts and align laterally.
•
Fix cross tube with clamping screws (3 off per post)
in the posts.
•
Push the black counter bearing onto the end
cap of the cloth roller.
•
Push the entire unit consisting of cloth roller with
cloth and drop profiles, installed motor and counter
bearing from above into the side parts. Ensure that
the motor cable points down.
Ensure that the drive side coincides with the position of the power
supply cable.
CAUTION: The fabric must run directly from the drop profile back-
wards to the shaft (see adjoining diagram).

Connect the counter bearing (using countersunk
screws M6x25mm) and the motor carrier (using
countersunk screws M6x16mm) with the side parts.
