Description of the GAMMA FINDER® III

reference measurement is finished. A successful refer-

ence measurement is confirmed with a checkmark and

the measured sensitivity displayed.

The measured sensitivity now serves as the reference value

for all further stability tests.
Performing the regular stability test

To  perform  a  regular  stability  test,  with  the  GAMMA  FIND-

ER® III switched on, press the OK button in the main menu.

Select  the  item  "STABILITY  TEST"  using  the  arrow  buttons

and confirm with the OK button.

Then  select  "PERFORM  TEST"  and  confirm  with  the  OK  but-

ton.

Place the source holder on the GAMMA FINDER® III so that

the tip of the GAMMA FINDER® III touches the nuclide. Make

sure  that  the  nuclide  you  used  for  reference  measurement

is inserted in the source holder. The name of the reference

nuclide is displayed in the lower left corner of the screen.
