Tracking the blade

Setup & Operation

Use the cant adjustment bolt to adjust where the blade travels on the blade wheels.

See Figure 2-8.

To move the blade out on wheels, turn the cant adjustment bolt clockwise. To move the blade in on wheels,
turn the bolt counterclockwise.

NOTE:

Slight adjustments of the side bolts on the outer blade wheel are

usually all that is necessary to track the blade properly.

See Section 5.3

for

complete blade wheel alignment instructions.

Adjust the blade tension if necessary to compensate for any changes that may have occurred while
adjusting the cant control.

Spin the blade wheel by hand.

Check if the blade is properly positioned on the blade wheels. Repeat steps 5 and 6 as necessary.

Turn the key switch to #0 position.

Be sure to close the blade housing and pulley covers when the adjustment is complete.
