7. HYDRAULIC OIL CHECK & MAINTENANCE
Safety: Ensure tractor and machine is stopped & keys out of ignition before set-up/maintenance.
Safety: Always follow manufacturers instructions for oils and lubricants.
Important Information
Hydraulic Oil Level Check
Check oil level when the unit is cold & the machine is level. Ensure different types of oils are not mixed
in the machine, this also applies to old and new oil.
The hydraulic oil should be visible in the level indicator (/thermometer) on the side of the oil tank A.
This also shows the current temperature. If the oil level is below the level indicator then the hydraulic
oil in the oil tank should be topped up.
1. Unscrew and remove filler plug B .
2. Pour in the oil (a funnel or pipe is helpful here as it is a narrow filler).
3. Fill until the oil can be seen in the level indicator A.
4. Replace the filler plug B.
