4. Remove the filter canister from the Cold
Water Filtration System under the galley sink
and discard the filter cartridge. Reinstall after
emptying the canister.
5. Turn the water pump switch OFF.
6. Empty the water pump strainer filter bowl to
avoid water freezing and cracking the filter
bowl. See “Water Pump” previously in this
section for the location on your motorhome.

Connect Air Pressure.
Connect a “blow-out”
plug to the city fill inlet (located on the left
sidewall). Then, use a compressed air hose
regulated to 30 psi or less to force air through
the system.
A “blow-out” plug can be purchased at any
Winnebago Industries
®
dealer.
NOTE: DO NOT burst air into the system. This
can damage the water pump. It is better
to let air in slowly.
8.
Drain Exterior Shower/Wash Station.
Attach exterior shower hose, then point
shower hose toward ground and squeeze
handle. Turn on the hot faucet, then the cold to
drain any water left in the shower line.

Drain Toilet.
Press the toilet flush pedal and
hold until water stops flowing in the toilet.
10. Point the toilet sprayer into the toilet and
squeeze handle to drain any water.
11. Open lavatory hot water faucet followed by
the cold faucet until water stops flowing, then
close.
12. Point shower head into lavatory sink and open
shower faucet (point towards hot, then cold)
until water stops flowing, then close.
13. Open galley sink faucet (point towards hot,
then cold) until water stops flowing, then
close.

Drain Fresh Water Tank and Waterlines.
Open all waterline drain valves and drain
fresh water tank. (See “Water System Drain
Valve Locations” chart at the end of this
section for locations of drain valves on your
model).
15.
Turn air pressure off
. Disconnect blow-out
plug.
