Operating manual
Step 1:
Door preparation: Ensure that Ø 8 mm drill holes are present on the
right and left of the lock follower (optional and only in the area of
the follower: Ø 9 mm or 10 mm) at a distance of 38 mm from centre
of hole to centre of hole (see 5.1 Definition of terms). Proceed in the
same way if the optional profile cylinder rosettes have been
ordered. Use a spirit level and the drill template from the Quick
Installation Guide.
Note!
The drill holes in your door in the lock follower area
or the profile cylinder hole often require reworking in
preparation for the ETB-IM assembly.

7 Installation
6 Mounting instructions
• Batteries are already inserted.
• Keep low-frequency and magnetic interfering sources, such as
powerpacks, away.
• Do not subject the electronic door handle to mechanical stresses (knocks,
shaking etc.) during assembly.
• Mount evenly on the door without tension or bends.
• If necessary, use the drill template provided for drilling.
• Only use the mounting material provided.
• To prevent the door handle or its individual parts from shaking loose, stiff,
self-locking screws with suitable coating are used, which could make the
assembly more difficult.
Warning!
The assembly may only be carried out by qualified
personnel.
Note:
- The screws may only be tightened by hand. Do NOT
use a cordless screwdriver to tighten the screws!
- No liability will be accepted for destruction due to the
screws being tightened too tightly!
