2.10.3.3 Installing the supply and return air hoses

– Expose approx. 1.97 in / 5 cm of the flexible grounding leads on all hose ends, and bend inwards into the hose

– Fig. 83.

– Slide hose clips over the hose and plug into connectors. The grounding wire must have good contact with the

connectors. If necessary, file down the coating on the pipe. Tighten the hose clips – Fig. 84.

INFORMATION

If you have problems making a connection, dampen the connections with water
(do not use grease).

DANGER

Pellet feed unit: fire and explosion hazard

Can

lead to serious injury/death! Ground suction hoses must be installed as de-

scribed in the installation instructions at every connection to avoid static sparking/
dust ignition. The pellet feed unit is for use with the day hopper only. The feed unit
must be braced, anchored, or strapped to avoid falling/shifting during an earthqua-
ke. Instructions can be obtained from your local Windhager dealer or wholesaler.
Pellet feed automatic changeover unit: Fire and explosion hazard
Fire and explosion hazard can lead to serious injury or death.
Do not use the pellet feed automatic changeover unit inside pellet storage room
or where there is a lot of dust present. Connect delivery hoses to pellet feed auto-
matic changeover unit as described in the installation instructions to avoid static
sparking or dust ignition.
