WaveCAST C
Administration Page
The Admin page displays administrative controls that can be used to help with non-technical WaveCAST C users,
or for remote site troubleshooting purposes.
The login username and password for the website can be set from this screen. If the username or password is
ever forgotten, it can be restored to its default value by restoring defaults via the front panel menu.
The Restore Defaults button on the web page (as well as the restore factory defaults function on the front screen)
will reset all of the devices settings including username, password, and IP information.
Updates are performed from the Admin page. At the bottom of the page, upload the update file (provided by
Williams AV) and hit the update button. Your system will begin the update process from there, which will include
a reboot.
Do not power down the device until it has successfully rebooted (main info screen has appeared)
There is no indicator for the progress of the update, but it should take around two minutes.
Updating, restoring or rebooting the device will make the website temporarily unavailable as the system resets.
A full error log can be downloaded by clicking the Download Error Log link. This may be useful when working
with Customer Service.
Note: If the IP address or subnet of the device was changed and the device is being rebooted, the website may
not be available at the same URL location. Take note of the network information before rebooting the
device. See "Network Settings" on page 13 for more information.
