For 15 TR units with 2 compressors take data from 8 TR multiplied by 2. For 20 TR with 2 compressors, take data
from 10 TR multiplied by 2.
For 25 TR units with 2 compressors take data from 12 TR multiplied by 2. For 30 TR with 2 compressors, take data
from 15 TR multiplied by 2.
If compressor is mounted up to 6 m above the evaporator, an oil trap is required at the beginning of the line
towards the condenser.
When the compressor is mounted 6 m above, an oil trap must be install every 4 m approx. between each one. The
total number of oil traps must not exceed 9 m.
When heights are greater than 9 m, an oil separator must be installed between the compressor and the condenser
coil to prevent discharge of oil into the circuit, which will not be able to return to the compressor due to the great
difference in height.
When the compressor is installed below the remote condenser, check whether in the compressor compartment,
according to the unit model, the high-pressure gas pipe forms an oil trap, otherwise install one at the compartment
outlet, to accumulate the oil remaining in the vertical path, at the compressor outlet.
Thus, if oil accumulates when the unit is switched off, it will not return to the compressor head and damage will be
prevented.
Install a liquid trap in the outdoor remote condenser with at least half the height of the condenser to prevent that
liquid remaining in the coil drains due to the differece in level.
