10.6. REAL-TIME VIEWS
Real-time Graph: Log is Empty or Log is Not Created
After clicking “Save Logging”, the data file was created, but the file is empty,
or after clicking “Save Logging”, no data file was created on the hard drive.
a. There is a chance that the data can still be accessed through copying
the data to clipboard via the “Copy Data” option under the “Copy to
Clipboard” button in the Real-time Graph window.
b. After copying the data, open notepad and paste the copied data into
the notepad.
10.6 Real-time Views
Real-time view: Data Not Updating
The values on the Real-time data screen do not update.
a. Click the RESET button
b. Check the Start Update check box on the Real-time Data screen. If
check box is already checked, un-check the check box and check it again.
Real-time views: Index Out of Bound
Upon opening real-time views or real time graph, “Index was outside the
bound of the array” message is displayed.
a. This means that more than 66 parameters are contained in the XRV.
Real time views and real time graph can only display a maximum of
66 parameters.
Real time views: No Valid Parameters
Upon opening real time views or real time graph, “No valid parameters
in real-time data file, Please select different XRV view file!”
message is
displayed.
a. The XRV file may contain variables that do not exist in the ECU WEST
is connected to. Try selecting a different XRV file, or build a new view
from the Real-time Views menu.
