Assembling
Attaching the Bench Drill Assembly
1. First insert the locking gib (R) into the provided opening of the holder.
2. Attach the completely mounted bench drill assembly (B) on the column and
tighten the bench drill assembly with both clamp bolts (E
1
and E
2
). Finally
make sure the bench drill assembly is firmly mounted on the column.
Mounting the Drill Chuck
1. Make sure the morse taper arbor (T) and the drill chuck (C) are clean and free
from grease.
2. Insert the morse taper arbor (T) into the spindle shaft (O).
3. Insert the drill chuck (C) into the arbor and completely insert the chuck into
the arbour. Completely open the jaws of the chuck! Lightly beat with a rubber
hammer on the drill chuck. The drill chuck is designed for using drill bits with a
diameter of 3 – 16 mm.
