Safety Notes

ƒ

  Make sure all wrenches or adjusting tools are removed from the radial drill 

press before starting the machine. 

ƒ

  Do not switch on the radial drill press if the drill bit touches the workpiece. 

ƒ

  When operating the radial drill press, always wear protection 

goggles. Wear suitable clothes. Take off jewellery and tie long hair. 

ƒ

  Protect your ears. Wear ear protectors.  

ƒ

 Do 

not

 wear gloves when inserting or replacing drill bits. 

ƒ

  When drilling wood please note that dusts can be harmful. Use a 

dust mask or if possible, attach suitable dust collection. 

ƒ

  Only use replacement parts recommended by Westfalia. 

ƒ

  Do not operate the radial drill press if the machine does not work correctly or 

has been damaged. Do not disassemble the machine and do not try to repair 
it yourself. Contact your customer support.
