Assembling
Before first Use
Unpack the radial drill press and check if all parts are complete and there is no
damage in transit. Dispose of the packaging material or store them in a same
place out or reach of children. Plastic bags etc. may become a deadly toy for
small children.
The radial drill press is delivery partly mounted to ensure transport. For mounting
the radial drill press, proceed as follows:
Mounting the Column and the Drill Table Bracket
1. Mount the column (G) on the fix mounted column holder (H) of the base (M).
Use the included bolts (Part No. 3 in the exploded diagram) and firmly tighten
the bolts.
2. Insert the pinion gear (15) into the provided opening in the drill table bracket
(L).
3. Mount the drill table (J) and the
rack (I) together. First insert the
rack (I) from above into the drill
table bracket and fix the rack
with the column ring (N).
Tighten the set screw in the ring
with the hex wrench. Make sure
the bottom part of the rack sits
firmly in the column holder.
4. Connect the pinion gear.
