7. Pull down the grinding disc (E) in direction to the first cutter tooth by
using the handle (B), the motor must be switched off. For fine adjust-
ment of the saw chain position, use the chain stop adjusting screw
(P
1
). If the position is correct, fix this position with the locking screw
(P
2
). Fine adjustments of the chain stop (Q) have to be made with the
set screw for lateral adjustment (S).
8. If necessary the distance of the guide boards (R) can be adjusted with
the set screw (T). By doing this the saw chain will be securely fixed in
position while using the fastening lever (M). Make sure the saw chain
is between both guide boards. Both guide boards have to be so close-
ly connected that the chainsaw chain cannot tilt to the side.
9. Adjust the max. sharpening depth with the screw for depth stop (F
1
)
and fix this position with the locking screw (F
2
).
Grinding:
1. Clamp the saw chain between the guide
boards (R) and secure it with the clamp-
ing handle (M).
2. To switch on the machine, press the ON
switch (C). Press down the handle (B).
When sharpening, always wear protec-
tion goggles. Carry out the first trial
grinding.
3. Mark the first sharpened cutter tooth in a
suitable way.
4. Loosen the clamping handle (M), lift the chain stop (Q) and move the
chain so that the cutting tooth after the next one can be sharpened.
Secure the chain with the chain with the clamping handle (M) sharpen
this tooth.
5. Sharpen every second cutting tooth in one direction. Then turn the
angle of the chain holder assembly (L) to the needed angle in oppo-
site direction. Turn the chain holder assembly (L) only when the grind-
ing disc is not moving.
6. Sharpen the remaining cutting teeth in to opposite direction.
