The unit must be installed with an appropriate backflow pre‐

venter in order to comply with all applicable federal, state,

and local laws and regulations.

Installing the water supply connection

Follow the steps below to set up the water supply for your combi oven:

Step

Procedure

Ask your local water company for information regarding the quality and hardness of the wa‐

ter you get. If required, use suitable water treatment solutions.

For information on the required properties for the fresh water used with the unit, please re‐

fer to the Technical Data on page 70 section.

Flush the water connection on the on-site water line (Z).

Install the sediment filter (X) and, if necessary, a water treatment system (W).

Install a separate shut-off device with a mesh strainer for each unit (Y or Y

Install an appropriate backflow preventer (V) in the water supply line if required by local

regulations.

Connect the unit as shown in the connection drawing.

Flush the sediment filter and, if applicable, the water treatment system.

Once you are done installing the water connection, close the shut-off device.

Inform the user of the maintenance intervals for the filters and for the water treatment sys‐

tem (if any).
