W41PC First Time Start, Card Installed
First time the W41PC software is started with the W41PC card installed, the software must be
informed of the
location and of the address configuration of the W41PC card. Since two
different hardware versions ( IF Input ) of the W41PC card is available, the software must be
informed here as well.
Clicking on "
Setup
" will display the dialog box shown below. The entry is stored in non-
volatile memory and no further entry is necessary. The settings may be changed at any time.
The W41PC system can be used in a network configuration. This allows the system to be
remotely controlled .
W41PC Remote Control
The W41PC uses Microsoft DCOM to communicate between the W41PC card (W41PC
server) and the user interface (W41PC client). Microsoft DCOM allows the client and server to
be separated by a network, thus enabling remote control.
