One or more of these inputs must be connected to the signal source(s) by coaxial cable or a
similar shielded cable. As an example an HF receiver may be connected to the AF IN
connector and VHF-UHF scanner to the 10.7 MHz IN connector.
To avoid distortion of the input signal, the input voltage range above should be observed.

Note:
The EXT-DEM (EXTernal DEModulator) input is available on a W41PC MK-II board only.
Thus a FSK Demodulator Box may be used in conjunction with a W41PC MK-II board only.
W41PC PC Power Supply Ratings
A W41PC card will draw approx. 170 mA from the +12V rail and the same amount from the -
12V rail.
A typical PC power supply may as an example be rated at 150 W, +5V/18.0A, +12V/3.0 A and
-12V/0.5 A. In this case the PC will only support two W41PC cards. To install more than one
card you will need a power supply with a higher -12V current rating.
W41PC Software Installation
Before installing a new software update, the old version must be deinstalled (see Software
Uninstallation)
By starting the software installation, the old version will automatically be uninstalled. After
that process has finished, you may install the new software release. Therefore you have to
restart the installation program manually.
