Mechanical installation

Setting of the "Gripsol" bolsters

Preparation of the ground and machine :

Degrease carefully the ground and the soles of the machine.

Preparation of the "Gripsol" bolsters :

Soak the bolsters in hot water during 5 minutes, then let them in open air for 3 to 4
minutes.

Then unstick the protective film on the two adhesive sides.

Setting the "Gripsol" bolsters :

Place each bolster (G) at its respective location (see drawing). Check that the bolster
projects inside the soles and heave successively each bearing of the machine.

Putting the machine into service

Waiting time : Before putting the machine into service, it is necessary that each bearing is
well fixed by crushing of the upper layer of

"Gripsol"

and that the lower layer has

penetrated in the porosity of the ground.

For an ambient temperature of 18 °C (65 °F), the crushing time is two hours.

Electrical safety device :

"Gripsol"

is a very good electric insulating material, the earthing of the machine is

compulsory.

To displace the machines sealed with

"Gripsol"

bolsters, you just have to heave the machine

and pull off the

"Gripsol"

bolsters.
