this kind of product be diced. Damage could occur to the blades and/or
motor and will not be covered under warranty.
• During the dicing operation, attention should be given to the finished product.
A visible change in the product will occur when the dicing grid requires
cleaning. The best way to clean the grid is to remove the continuous feed
lid. Remove the slicing plate and the dicing grid, then take the dicing grid
cleaning tool included and force through any produce on the grid. See page
15 for illustration.
• When using dicing feature: Select dicing grid and place in chute on top of
“posts” support. Pick up slicing disc either by using the finger holes on disc
surface or holding the disc firmly between both hands. Be careful not to grab
the blades or scrape your hands on the blades. Carefully guide the disc on
top of dicing grid until it clicks into place. When dicing, use Pulse Paddle for
best results.
• The Waring food processor has a locking mechanism that will secure the
discs in place while the machine is running. Two locking pins on the shaft
mesh with slots in the hub of the accessory disc and hold it securely in place.
• When it is time to remove the accessory disc, rotate the disc
counterclockwise
as far as you can, and pick the disc straight
up. The rotation moves the pin out
of the slot in the disc’s center hub.
• When dicing, if the disc gets jammed unplug the appliance. Remove the lid of
the continuous feed chute first, then rotate the slicing plate counterclockwise
slowly to loosen the slicing plate.
