6.4 Switching on and off
Switching on: Hold the camera in the desired direction, and press the fun-
ction button and hold it down until the green LED lights up. Switching off:
Press the function button and hold it down until the green LED no longer
fl ashes in short intervals, but remains on. If the battery is not suffi ciently
charged, the green LED will fl ash 3 times in succession every 5 seconds.
Then switch off the gimbal and charge the battery up or put in a new one.
6.5 Adjusting the camera
Step 1: Balancing the tilt axis
Note
When adjusting, the motor button ring must be
slightly loosened so that adjustments can be
made without forcing.
6.5.1. Adjust the centre of gravity of the camera vertical-
ly on the tilt axis.
a) Fix the tilt position and swivel position, then stay at
horizontal level and rotate the lens downwards. Note:
Look to see whether the camera stays in the desired
position.
b) If the camera tilts forwards or downwards, loosen the
adjustment ring and align the camera so that it coun-
teracts the tilt and so that the camera can be correctly
attached.
c) Tighten the adjustment ring of the tilt axis again, once
the desired adjustments have been made.
6.5.2
a) Rotate the camera again into a horizontal position.
Fix the tilt and roll axis, tilt position, pan position, and
keep these axes horizontal.
b) If the camera tilts forward or backward, move it
in the opposite direction until the camera can be
correctly attached. As seen in the fi gure, the camera
moves in direction A2 if it is tilted in direction A1,
and the camera should move in direction B2 if it is
tilted in direction B1.
c) After making the adjustments, tighten the screws
on the quick-release plate and the lens holder ring
again.
