Safety Advice (Precautions)

For installing and operating purposes of the relevant device to your system the
following safety precautions shall be observed:

Do not work on components while energized!

All power sources to the device shall be switched off prior to performing any
installation, repair or maintenance work.

Installation only in appropriate housings, cabinets or in electrical operation
rooms!
TO-PASS

telecontrol modules are exposed operating equipment. They may only

be assembled in housings, cabinets or in electrical operation rooms. Access is
only permitted via a key or tool to authorized qualified personnel.

Use SELV/PELV power source only!

The

TO-PASS

telecontrol module must only be powered from a PELV

(Protective Extra Low Voltage) or SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage) power
source complying with the limited power source (LPS) requirements per DIN EN
60950-1.
