Fuel Filter

Change the fuel filter

every 300 hours of operation. Remove the

filter

from the filter head

Install the new filter. If necessary, prime the fuel lines. See section

16 Priming the Fuel System

Gasoline is extremely flammable! Turn the engine off and allow the
engine to cool before replacing the fuel filter.

4.8

Priming the Fuel System

If the fuel tank has been run completely dry or drained for service, it
may be necessary to manually prime the fuel system.

To prime the fuel system:

Turn the ignition switch to the ON position

Pump the lever on the fuel pump

until there is an increase in

pumping effort.
