Maintenance
Top off the engine oil
Caution!
Too much or incorrect engine oil can cause engine damage! Therefore:
☞
Do not add engine oil above the MAX mark of oil dipstick 77/ A
☞ Use only the specified engine oil
Environment!
Use a suitable container to collect the engine oil as it drains and dispose of it in
an environmentally friendly manner!
Perform the starting aid as follows:
☞ Clean the area around filler cap A with a clean lint-free cloth
☞ Open filler cap A
☞ Adding engine oil
☞ Wait a moment until all the oil has run into the oil sump
☞ Check the oil level
☞ Add oil if necessary and check the oil level again
☞ Close filler cap A
☞ Completely remove all oil spills from the engine.
Drain engine oil
Perform the starting aid as follows:
☞ Clean the area around oil filler cap B with a lint-free cloth
☞ Place a sufficiently large container under the place where the oil is drained
☞ Open filler cap B
☞ Wait for a short while (appr. 3 minutes), until the oil has drained completely from the
sump
☞
Close filler cap B
Environment!
Use a suitable container to collect the engine oil as it drains and dispose of it in
an environmentally friendly manner!
