9.7 Attachment kit for attached vernier calliper for 2 axes and spindle Y axis
9.7.1 Installing the bracket for the attached vernier calliper
1. Use a 5-mm hexagon socket wrench to loosen the 2 screws (30)
2. Remove the clamping bracket (29).
Caution:
the two nuts screwed onto the screws (30) can fall off on the opposite side.
3. Mark the position of the 2 holes on the clamping bracket (29).
4. Hold the bracket for the attached vernier calliper again on the Y-axis (2) and check the position
of the holes.
5. Punch the positions marked on the clamping bracket (29) to prevent the drill from running off.
6. Use a Ø 7 mm drill to create 2 holes in the clamping bracket (29).
7. Deburr the holes.
8. Fasten the prepared clamping bracket (29) to the coordinate table again using the two screws (30) and a 5 mm hex-
agon socket wrench. Ensure in the process that the counter-nuts of the two screws (30) do not tilt.
