9.7.1 Installing the bracket for the attached vernier calliper
16. Hold the two pre-mounted vernier brackets (11) and (16) as shown and attach them with the two previously disman-
tled screws (31).
1. Insert the bracket for the attached X-axis vernier calliper (8) into the front of the T-groove of the top slide (32) from
the left as shown
2. Use 2 screws (7) to clamp it in the upper slide.
3. Equivalently insert the bracket for the right-hand attached X-axis vernier calliper (10) into the T-groove from the right
side
4. Use a 3 mm hexagon socket wrench to clamp it with 2 screws (7)
5. Tighten the screws (7) only slightly because during assembly of the attached vernier callipers, the two
attached vernier callipers X-left (8) and X-right (10) must be adjusted in height.
