Stitch length dial

Different stitch lengths alter the appearance of the

seam.

You can select various numbers and symbols by turning the

‹stitch length

dial›

. In general, the higher the number, the further the stitch is spread apart.

The stitch length can be set within the range from 1 to 5 mm. The desired
value must be set at the marking point on the overlocker housing.

Most overlocking work is sewn with a seam length of 2

5 mm.

To set your

machine accordingly,

set the stitch length dial to the symbol (horizontal dash)

between 2 and 3.

Set the stitch lenght dial between two and three. This setting is suitable for most fabrics.

To sew rolled hems, set the stitch length dial to the symbol (vertical line)
between 1 and 2.
