Inspection

by

W6

Your W6 overlocker requires basic care and

cleaning in order to maintain a

consistently high stiching quality.

Please

read carefully the information

provided in this chapter and follow the instructions regarding cleaning and

maintenance.
Please remember that not all parts of the W6 overlocker are accessable to

you

. If a W6 overlocker has been used very frequently, then the fluff and

dust deposits must be removed regularly

.

Should you notice the your seams no longer appear flawless even after

you have thoroughly cleaned your device, or if the device starts making

more noise than usual, this means that the device should be cleaned and

dust must be removed from bearings and shafts by a professional.

The interaction of hook and needle bar should be readjusted at certain
inter-vals, as these can also be affected by uncontrolled tugging at fabric,
dirt deposits and needle strikes. Thorough cleaning as part of an inspection
service by our W6 master workshop will solve these problems.

Parts

Regular inspections of the device (subject to a charge) will help ensure a

smooth and quiet operation of the device as well as a long service life of

the overlocker.
