Troubleshooting
Review the information in the table below to troubleshoot operating problems.

Inappropriate choice of tubing size Check that you have chosen the right size of
tubing for the precision you want (see 3.5.1
Programs and tubings)
Tubings are too old
Replace the tubings
Tubings are pinched
Put the tubings in correct position
The setting of the pump is not

Correct the setting of the pumps
The density entered is not correct
Correct the density in the calibration process

The pump has been opened
Calibrate after each opening of the pump

Using the handy gun (ref. 710-2127)
For highly precise work, you can use the handy gun
How to install the handy gun
Connect the Jack 3.5 mm connector at the back of the unit of the Media Pump.
Insert the stainless steel nozzle in the gun.
Be careful to aim in the slot where you can distinguish white rollers.
To take out the stainless steel nozzle, unclip it by pulling it down.
Be careful not to press too much.
How to install a diluent broth bag
Disconnect the GL45 bottle cap from the tubing.
Instead of GL45 bottle cap place the trocar for broth bags (ref. 710-2111).
Connect the bag using the trocar.
Install the diluent broth bag on the independent stand (ref. 710-2109).
