Energy-saving charging mode
When this mode is activated, all telephone
functions, except handset battery charging, will
be disabled.
To activate the energy-saving charging
mode in NG-S3411 & NG-S3411W:
1. Remove the plastic cover from the back of
the telephone base.
2. Slide the base power switch to the off
position.
When the telephone base and handset
successfully enters the energy-saving charging
mode, all keys on the telephone base should
not respond.
If the telephone fails to enter this mode, slide
the base power switch to the on
position, and
then back to the off position.
Note
• Make sure the telephone base is connected
to a network wall jack by an ethernet cable
(for PoE), or a power adapter plugged in the
power outlet.
• Make sure the battery is installed in the
handset, and the handset is cradled in the
telephone base.
To deactivate the energy-saving
charging mode:
1. Slide the base power switch back to the on
position. Then
plug the power adapter or the
Ethernet cable back in the telephone base to
reconnect the power.
2. Register the handsets back to the telephone
base.
