4.3 Safety warnings for your health
In case of doubt, always consult your physician.
The light therapy device is a self-help device. Light therapy is not a substitute
for medical treatment, rehabilitation methods or a therapy, prescribed by a
physician. It is an effective complementary method of treatment and self-help.
When treating the face do not look straight into the light source. Cover or close
your eyes.
If you are taking medicinal products sensitive to light, consult your physician
before use.
In treatment of chronic medical conditions you may experience a short period
of discomfort (e.g. a tingling sensation) or increased pain due to the re-es
-
tablishment of primary natural balance. In such case discontinue the use and
resume the therapy after 6 hours with shorter treatment times.
Any local or systemic bacterial or viral infection may alter the body’s response.
Caution is necessary in cases of fever and infections, certain blood disorders,
major blood loss, neuropathy, and in treating the lower abdomen - there are
insufficient studies on the effect on gonads.
The stimulator enhances the cellular metabolism and thus increases the re
-
moval of toxins from the body. Make sure you are drinking enough water daily.
Illuminating the neck may have a temporary sedative effect. Therefore wait
before driving, operating construction machinery or participating in any activity
requiring complete alertness after the therapy.
Despite numerous studies in the field of light therapy, some questions remain
unanswered. In some cases the use of light therapy is not advised although
there are no reports on adverse effects (applies only to home use).
