• With the „INC“ button, you access the next setting (or with the button „DEC“ the previous
setting or return to the main menu with the button „BATT TYPE/STOP“).
In this menu, you can activate/deactivate the temperature monitoring function as well as
set the corresponding temperature at which the safety cut-off kicks in.

An external temperature sensor is required to use this function, which is connected
to the charger (see chapter 8, position 9).
Confirm the selection by pressing the „START/ENTER“ button. „ON“ (or „OFF“) flashes
on the display.
You can activate („ON“) or deactivate („OFF“) the temperature monitoring function with
the buttons „INC“ or „DEC“.
Confirm the setting by pressing the „START/ENTER“ button.
The temperature now flashes in the display (display in °C = „C“ and °F = „F“). With the
buttons „INC“ or „DEC“, you can set the temperature at which a subsequent charge or
discharge process is later terminated.
Save the setting by briefly pushing the „START/ENTER“ button.

The battery may become quite hot using the cycle program (automatic charge/discharge
cycles in sequence). In order to give the battery enough time to cool off sufficiently, a
break time can be set here.
Briefly push the „START/ENTER“ button. The time then begins to flash. With the buttons
„INC“ or „DEC“, you can select the time (0....60 min). Save the setting with the „START/
ENTER“ button, the time stops flashing.
