Test figure for dipped beam
Check the following:
– With the dipped beam switched on, the lowest part of the hor‐
izontal light/dark boundary must be aligned with the dividing
line -1- of the test area.
– The breaking point -2- between the horizontal part of the light/
dark boundary on the left and the inclined part on the right
should be on the vertical line passing through the centre mark.
Note
To simplify the determination of the breaking point -2-, cover and
uncover left (from driver perspective) half of the headlight a few
times. Then check dipped beam again.

Carrying out basic setting of headlight range control
– Connect vehicle diagnostic tester
– Switch on ignition.
– Select “Guided functions”.
– Perform identification of vehicle.
– 55 - Select Headlight range control.
– Mark “Performing basic setting” and confirm with ►.
– Note displayed notes and select “Done”.
