Clock with button in dash panel insert
The time is set using button -1- in the dash panel insert.
– Press button -1- and hold it until the text “Time” is shown on
the display.
– Release button -1-.
The time is displayed on the display and the hour value is high‐
lighted.
– Press button -1- until the desired hour value is displayed.
Keep the button pressed for "fast run".
After the hour value has been set, wait until the minute value is
highlighted on the display.
– Press button -1- until the desired minute value is displayed.
Keep the button pressed for "fast run".

Underbody: Visual check for damage to
underbody sealant, underbody panels,
routing of lines, plugs
Caution
• During visual check, also check floor pan, wheel housings
and sills.
♦ Always ensure that all lines are secured in their mount‐
ings, that all plugs are available and that there is no visible
damage on the underbody.
♦ Faults found must always be rectified (repair measure).
This inhibits corrosion and rusting through.

TDI common rail engines:
– Removing and installing toothed belt: Power unit ⇒ Rep. gr.
15 → Cylinder head, → Valve gear/removing and installing
toothed belt.
