– Open glass panel completely.
Caution
The control guide -green- must not be cleaned or lubricated!
Risk of damage!
– All parts to be lubricated must be cleaned in advance using
lint-free cloth or applicator and wet and dry vacuum cleaner -
VAS 5128- .
– Lubricate inside and outside of guide rails on both sides (high‐
lighted in -green-) with lubricating paste.
– Apply lubricating paste to approx. first 10 cm of guide rail from
both sides in area of -arrows-.
Ensure that no other components or the inside of the vehicle are
soiled.
Note
Should the blocking element of the control guide become disen‐
gaged during cleaning or lubricating operations, do not operate
the panoramic tilt/slide sunroof! Risk of damage!
Engage control guide as follows:
– Carefully push control guide lever -green- downwards.
– Using a screwdriver, carefully push blocking element -blue-
over lever -green- from side.
